| Bio: | I think life is very much like riding a roller coaster. It shouldnt be gentle. It should shake you up, wake you up, scare you, thrill you, make you want to puke and then make you want to get on it again. Its up to you what part of the ride is your favorite. I have two wonderful daughters who I refer to as my kidlings even though they are almost grown. I try to be very active in their lives but also try to respect that they are learning to make adult decisions and they cant if I am hovering to close. It's a fine line sometimes. I am married to a wonderful man who I knew when I was in Jr High and High School. Our Dad's were stationed in West Germany and we went to school together until our Sophomore year in HS then our Dad's got stationed to different state side bases. We ended up re-meeting as adults in 1994 and in 1996 were married. My "real job" is that of being a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Nursing. I am currently working on getting my Masters Degree in Nursing so that I can obtain my Registered Nurse Practioners License. This would afford me even more autonomy in my nursing career. And yes, I have *tons* of "you'll never believe this..." stories that I have seen and taken care of in the almost 2 decades of my career. My hobby is being a musician. I have played semi-professionaly in several bands (and even put down some tracks on tapes and CDs from time to time). I play anything with a reed. I also sing and while I think I play my horns better than I sing I have been told I have a voice worth being heard. Uh huh.. all I hear when I play back the recordings is ick! LOL Music is my sanity saver. Playing music, singing music and even listening to music will usually put my soul back into proper perspective. I dearly want to learn to play strings. Maybe someone can teach me sometime as trying to teach myself is ummm interesting yeah thats the word... interesting. :) | ||
